I had gotten my eyes done once before, but since this was revision surgery, I was still worried. I hoped the ptosis correction would turn out well. After surgery, unlike before, I consistently did warm/cold compresses, slept with my upper body elevated, and paid attention to a lot of things. I got bruising around my eyes too, and as the swelling gradually moved downward, my face felt square-shaped.... I think days 3-4 were when the swelling was at its peak. These days I’ve started warm compresses around my nose too. For my nose, rather than pain, it was frustrating having to breathe only through my mouth. A few days ago, after removing the splint, it became more comfortable. Until then, I had cotton packing in, so whatever I ate had no taste, so I only ate light foods. So I feel like I naturally lost some weight too. I took a break from exercising too, and my body feels restless, but... I guess it’s better to rest for the time being.
