I'm in my mid-30s now, and I first had double eyelid surgery by the buried suture method around my second year of high school. Even back then, one side came undone, so they slightly re-fixed just that side.
It wasn't that I had no double eyelid at all, but I had a lot of different lines, so sometimes they looked big and sometimes small. I used to make them with double eyelid glue, but I got inflammation, so I was allowed to get surgery.
Then after graduating from university, when I was working at my first company, it loosened a little, so I had it done again! (But I think even then, later on, I had only one side redone againㅠㅠ)
Thinking about it now, I didn't even shop around for consultations, and I just went to the place my friend had gone to and booked right away, so I'm glad it turned out well,,
At that time, I also had lower canthoplasty? lateral canthoplasty? done together, and the scars weren't big, and it turned out naturally well!
It's been almost 10 years now, but honestly the front part has loosened (for me, even if they set the front line big, it always starts loosening from the front)
Sometimes my double eyelids look weird, but thankfully if I stick them with double eyelid tape and wait a day, they settle back into place, so that's a relief,,,,!
Now my eye-opening strength has gotten weaker, and I often open my eyes using my forehead, so I'm wondering if I should get ptosis correction soon.
I really don't think plastic surgery ends with just one timeㅠㅡㅠ
I don't have old photos on my phoneㅋㅋㅋㅋ I'd have to go to my parents' house to find photos from my school days.
I'll at least upload recent eye photos~!
