I am 7 years post-op from autologous dermal rhinoplasty. Results may differ depending on the original nose, but mine originally had a slight bulbous nose, a sunken nasal bridge area, and a very low nasal bridge.
My nasal bridge, nasal dorsum, and nasal tip were all operated on using my own dermis, but now my nose has become sunken at the nasal bridge and nasal dorsum. I spent 7 years watching my face change every single day, and the sunken nasal bridge symptom started last year (the nasal dorsum started around year 3-4).
The sunken areas look relatively dark. Because they do not catch the light. Yesterday, someone at work said that. They asked if I had bruised my nose.. These days, I am so afraid to take off my mask. After dermal surgery, removing the dermis is difficult, and I could not find even one revision surgery case. Honestly, life feels so meaningless, I cannot meet people, and when I talk without a mask, it feels like everyone is only looking at my nose. It was the first time I thought I wanted to die. If I could go back, I would absolutely never have done it with autologous dermis. Because of the scar behind my buttock, I worry not only at public baths, but even when getting an injection in my buttock. I have not been able to live comfortably in any way. Everyone may have different results, but I really do not recommend it...
