Removal of 10-Year-Old Gore-Tex and Medpor

Since I was young, my low nose was a complex for me. Looking back now, it was only low in height, and I think the shape was okay haha Anyway, in my early 20s, I finally got the nose surgery I had been planning Back then I wanted to become pretty quickly, so I went to just one hospital, booked right away, and had surgery. I thought silicone would look too obvious if inserted, so I only raised the height with Gore-Tex But maybe about 5 years passed, and I could feel something on the columella of my left nostril. So I went to the hospital where I had surgery, and they said it seemed like scar tissue and that they could remove it if I wanted But since it wasn’t noticeable unless I touched it myself, and other people couldn’t even see it, I just lived with it as it was Then maybe another 2 years passed, and that scar tissue or whatever it was suddenly started bothering me a lot again. And I couldn’t make a pig nose, and my nasal tip was hard.. I thought, well, if I think of the nasal bridge as bone, it’s okay if it’s hard, but the nasal tip and not being able to make a pig nose bothered me a bit (even though right after getting surgery I definitely said I didn’t need any of that as long as it was pretty lol) And I started wondering whether I could live well with this nose until I became a grandmother.. My worries just kept increasing until I was worrying about being a grandmother lololol So I contacted the hospital where I had surgery and asked exactly what had been put into my nose. They said Gore-Tex in the nasal bridge and Medpor in the columella.. haah, I hadn’t even thought about Medpor, and one more worry got added Then life got busy, so I forgot about it again But I gave birth last year and I’m currently on leave I was living fine while taking care of the baby, but then the nose worries came flooding back again. So I thought, no, I can’t do this. Rather than living my whole life just worrying like this, I’d rather just get rid of it completely. Since I’m on leave anyway, now is the perfect timing. As soon as I thought that, I searched the internet like crazy Starting from the top three places for nose implant removal to revision surgery using autologous dermis.. But I know my own personality now: if I had revision surgery, I’d probably be okay at first and then start worrying again as time passed. So I thought, no, let’s just remove it. I had a few online consultations with one of the top three places, then visited in early January and had another consultation

During the consultation, they said my nose had no inflammation and no real problem right now, so how about removing it only when my anxiety about having a foreign body in my body becomes extremely severe.. (I kind of liked that they didn’t push surgery lolololol) And they said what I could feel in the columella might be my alar cartilage being pushed out as the Medpor was inserted Anyway, so I thought, okay, if the doctor says that, I’ll just live like this a bit longer But seriously, my personality is awful.. once it started bothering me, every time I looked in the mirror I only looked at my nose and touched it, and when I watched TV I could only see celebrities’ noses.. These days, I think that kind of natural look is prettier… whew Then I didn’t want to keep worrying and feeling afraid about my nose anymore, so I called the place I had consulted before and booked the surgery right away.. And this morning I had surgery for complete removal…! Before surgery, I was really so nervous and scared, and I wondered why I ever raised it thinking I’d become that much prettier. I was really mixed up with regret, reflection, worry, fear, tension, and all sorts of feelings lolololololol And now I’m lying in the recovery room after surgery, and I feel so relieved If it was going to be like this, I should have removed it earlier For me, my nose getting lower or things like that are secondary. Thinking about my mental health, I feel so, so, so relieved and refreshed..
