Before <before double eyelid surgery>Before <before double eyelid surgery>After <same day>After <same day>After <day 2>After <week 1>After <week 2>After <week 3>I’m finally leaving a review to mark 3 weeks after my natural adhesion surgery! First, I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method 10 years ago, but it all came undone, so I ended up getting revision surgery. I wanted it to look as natural as possible and keep my old eye line exactly as it was, so I decided after going around to consultations at places known in a community for natural results + places my acquaintances had gone to.
My friend had surgery with this director early this year, and it turned out so naturally and beautifully that I decided on this hospital! (Originally, the doctor was at ㅇㅁㄷ... I called in March, but they said appointments were available only after July, so I had given up. But recently the doctor moved hospitals to Eye Ting, so I booked a consultation right away and had surgery the following week!) As soon as I had the consultation, I thought, “Ah..^^ I should get surgery from this director,” and I got that feeling. The doctor kept checking the line very meticulously, didn’t pressure me into unnecessary procedures, and was kind! I felt like the line I wanted and the direction the doctor pursued were the same. Looking at review photos and my friend’s result, I think the doctor is really good at natural inline or in-out lines.
The surgery was done after sedation anesthesia followed by local anesthesia, and seriously... can it be this painless..? It hurt less than an anti-inflammatory injection..? That’s how much I was thinking it didn’t hurt at all, both during the surgery and right after surgery.
Also, I’m really the type who bruises and swells easily, but maybe because the surgery didn’t hurt and ended quickly, even on the same day there was less bruising and swelling than I expected.
After surgery, I just did cold compresses + went about daily life, so the swelling went down pretty quickly. I had double eyelid surgery on Thursday and went to work on Monday wearing glasses, and people didn’t know unless I told them^^... But at first it went down pretty fast.. then from week 2 it’s been going down slowly I’m at week 3 now, and in person my eyes still look a bit intense, so I keep wearing glasses... But once all the residual swelling goes down, I think the exact line I want will come out, so I’m very satisfied!! I’ll come back to post another review once the residual swelling goes down...
This review is for surgery that pursues natural beauty.
