Nasal Tip Cartilage Tying

When I was 20, I was getting nose filler here and became interested in my nasal tip too, so I had cartilage tying done. It was done with a closed approach, and the surgical result was just so-so. Since it was only tying the cartilage anyway, I didn't expect it to have a big effect.

And there was something wart-like in one nostril from that time that stayed there for several years until I had nose surgery. Back then, I just thought it was something like a wart on the skin.

Then about 4 years later, I had nose surgery at another hospital, and when the director opened my nose, he was very shocked and said the nasal cartilage had been damaged, that the outline of the nasal tip cartilage was barely visible, sutures were coming out, and all the tissue was tangled together. I was shocked to hear that, shocked again to hear that what had looked like a wart all this time was cartilage, and devastated when I heard that because the cartilage was such a mess, they couldn't lift the nasal tip very much. And because it became a huge surgery, I really suffered physically, emotionally, and financially.
