Review of Extraction Orthodontic Treatment for Protruding Mouth

My protruding mouth was a bit severe, so I had extraction orthodontic treatment. (A total of 4 upper and lower teeth, plus wisdom teeth) Before orthodontics, I had a protruding mouth, straight front teeth, snaggle teeth, etc. After orthodontics, the protruding mouth did go in, but some still remains. My front teeth were almost straight across, and that changed into a nicer-looking shape. The snaggle teeth disappeared. At first it was scheduled to take 2 years, but I ended up doing it for nearly 4 yearsㅠ (kept paying monthly treatment fees) For those getting orthodontic treatment because your protruding mouth is very severe, I recommend clearly checking how much improvement is possible before doing it. If things go wrong, you might not get the result you want. +It’s best to clearly settle what happens with additional costs when the expected orthodontic period ends before you begin treatment. Otherwise, like me, you may end up continuing to pay monthly treatment fees and giving the dental clinic over 1 million won moreㅠㅠ
