I chose the hospital because, among the three hospitals where I had consultations, I felt their explanations were the easiest to understand and the most detailed. During the consultation, they listened well to the areas I wanted to change and took them into account, so I trusted them a lot and decided to have surgery there. The reason I decided on surgery was that I had always had a complex about my eyes, which had a lot of fat, and my very low nasal bridge and bulbous nose. I also felt there was a limit to how much I could cover them with makeup. For my eye surgery, I had incisional double eyelid surgery + eye fat removal + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty, and for my nose surgery, I had hump removal + nasal bridge augmentation with silicone + nostril/alar reduction + nasal tip augmentation. During recovery, for my eyes, because of the ptosis correction, I had a feeling as if someone was pulling my eyes upward from above, but other than that, I did not find it particularly difficult. As for the swelling I was most worried about, the major swelling went down quickly around days 3-4, and I still have minor swelling now on day 23. I was told it would gradually go down, so I am diligently doing warm compresses. For my nose, immediately after surgery I could not breathe through my nose, so breathing was very uncomfortable, and I also had difficulty eating. After that, aside from having a lot of runny nose, there was no discomfort, and that also improved quickly. The swelling has not completely gone down yet, but my nose turned out more natural and prettier than I expected, so I am very satisfied. My eyes still seem quite swollen, so the line that was supposed to be in-out looks like a thick out-line, making them look a bit like sausage eyes, so they still feel awkward. But I am waiting, thinking it may look fine once the swelling goes down. Still, I am satisfied overall.
