Ever since I was young, I really wanted to get nose surgery, so I searched for it every day, and now I am finally getting it! What I considered important was:
1) Whether there are many reviews with the nose shape I want 2) Whether the doctor does not force their own preferred nose shape during the consultation 3) Whether the doctor explains the rhinoplasty method and materials in detail 4) Whether they understand side effects well and explain them 5) Since I have to go study abroad soon, whether I can schedule the surgery quickly 5) The AS period and cost 6) Whether there is a review-writing event, or whether they ask for reviews or not (I hope not) These were my criteria.
The place I went to through a recommendation from a hospital director I know was a perfect fit, so I decided to do it next week. (Honestly, I am still wondering if I should get more consultations, but the doctor understood my needs so well and even took my study abroad plans into consideration.) The hospital I booked is a large hospital. And honestly, the hospital itself did not look extremely nice. But more than that, I communicated so well with the doctor and the consultant, and because I was anxious, I asked the hospital all kinds of things by text, and they replied very quickly. The doctor also had more than 15 years of experience and apparently does a lot of revision rhinoplasty. During the consultation, I said my biggest concern was side effects because I have to go study abroad, and the consultant checked that part carefully and relayed it to the doctor. The doctor also showed me the rhinoplasty process, which made me feel like my worries about side effects were reduced. I brought pictures of the nose shape I wanted and showed them, and they said they would make it as close as possible to the shape I wanted, without pushing anything on me. Because I have to go overseas, they said they would extend the AS period for me too. For the cost, I only need to pay the anesthesia fee. They did not ask me to write a review, and since I went through the hospital director, they also gave me a discount there. I went with my mom, and the consultant was polite. I also communicated well with the doctor and had the consultation while smiling. (My impression got better because they explained how silicone is inserted using a nose model.) Honestly, I am a bit disappointed that I could not ask all my questions, but I can ask before surgery, so... haha
