I originally had a long nose with a hump, and my nasal septum was very deviated, so I had functional + cosmetic nose surgery. No implant was used, and it was done with donated costal cartilage. I am currently at week 7, and I thought it would be fairly stable by 7 weeks, so I’m leaving a review.
Because my hump was quite severe and no implant was used, a little bit of the hump remains.. But my acquaintances say that because of that, it looks more natural, so I’m satisfied with this part. The functional aspect also improved. After surgery, until around week 6? my nose was severely blocked, so I was worried, but a few days ago it suddenly opened up. Overall, it was a satisfying surgery, but there is something I’m worried about. Since about a week ago, there has been a musty, unpleasant smell coming from my nose. I still don’t know the cause, and I’ll be going to the hospital soon about it, so if I find out the cause, I’ll leave an additional review.. If anyone here has experienced the same symptom, please share!
