I live in Daejeon. Most people around me said that if I was going to get rhinoplasty, I should do it in Seoul, so I thought about it, but no matter how much I considered it, I felt it would be too hard to go back and forth to Seoul. So I searched Naver for rhinoplasty in Daejeon and found a director who specializes only in nose surgery and does only one surgery per day, so I went straight in for a consultation.
It has a modest feel, like a private clinic, but the director personally did the consultation and explained in detail things I did not know + cosmetic surgery side effects that circulate online, so it felt sincere.
First of all, even if you want a nose like celebrities have... it cannot become perfectly like the shape you want, since everyone's original features are different, so I think it is best to check whether your nose can become the shape you want before having surgery.
Anyway, I did not go to any other clinics, thought about it for a week, and set a surgery date. If you have had filler + lifting in the past, you need to tell them, and you need to get an injection to dissolve the filler by one week before surgery!
I had dissolvable filler 3 years ago, so I got the injection around 2 weeks before surgery. On the day of surgery, I took photos and went straight into surgery. The bridge of my nose was done with silicone and the nasal tip with septal cartilage, so other areas did not hurt either and recovery was fast. I have seasonal allergic rhinitis, and thankfully they also did rhinitis surgery together haha (after doing it, my nose definitely does not feel blocked and breathing feels easier)
There may be individual differences, but for me, even the major swelling all went down within 4 days and I had no bruising. I heard that the amount of bleeding during surgery and the surgery time affect it. That must mean the director did the surgery well haha
The result is totally, totally satisfying!! If you are going to get cosmetic surgery, I think it is right to do it even one day younger. I asked them to preserve my nose shape and make it as high as possible (?) within a natural-looking range. They did it exactly the way I wanted. They also lifted the nasal tip as much as possible... My nose and nostrils were small before, so it must have been difficult, but the director is amazing..!! It turned out so natural that even my family says they cannot really remember my previous nose.
