My nose was not originally low, but I had a complex about my deviated nose and hooked nose, and it looked like a man’s nose, so I had surgery. I disliked that my nose was big, so I asked them to make it smaller, but it seems like it got bigger, and like it became an even more masculine nose.. (kind of a handsome nose..?) I visited 8 clinics, and among them only AB said to use silicone for the nasal bridge, but why did I only understand after surgery why everyone else said not to use it... I wanted a straight-to-semi-curved line, but it became almost a straight nose, and at first I wanted something naturally glamorous, but because I didn’t want it to look too obvious, right before going into surgery I asked them to make it natural, yet it turned out very glamorous. Each director and hospital has a nose line they pursue, so please make sure to look carefully through reviews to see whether it is the line you want. As for autologous costal cartilage, I didn’t know anything and just said I would do it, but it really hurts and the scar remains bigger than expected, so think carefully before doing it! Also, functional nose surgery done at plastic surgery clinics only corrects the front part of the nose and does not correct the back part (septum side), so people with severe deviated septum may not get it corrected properly (I found this out after going to an ENT too.. haha). If your deviated septum is severe and you absolutely need to correct it, go to a place with an ENT specialist! (Insurance claims are possible) It seems like I only wrote bad things, but I am satisfied that my existing hooked nose and deviated nose were corrected, and it feels safe because there is an anesthesiology specialist, and both the consultant and director are kind!!
In conclusion, people around me now keep saying my nose looks like it could pierce the sky, and I also think it looks high from the side and too much like a handsome nose, so I am thinking about removing the silicone from the nasal bridge and shaving the nasal tip just a little (or leaving it as is) Acquaintances who had rhinoplasty say swelling continues to go down and the nose settles for up to 2 years, so I should wait, but is waiting the right thing to do? I don’t know whether I am the only one who thinks it is too high or whether I am being sensitive..!
