The hooked, masculine-looking nose had always been my complex, and from the side, my nasal tip drooped + when I smiled, the tip looked like a witch's nose, so I wanted a higher nasal tip and a slim, small, feminine nose. I had surgery at Cocoline with Director Kim Seon-gu: dorsal hump removal + bulbous nose correction without an implant & nasal bridge osteotomy, plus surgery for nasal obstruction.
I'm exactly 3 months post-op now, and on the side where I had the osteotomy, if I drink alcohol and wake up the next day, it sometimes swells a bit, and when I touch it, it can feel tight & sometimes hurt, but it's become much slimmer than before. The swelling seems to be going down more and more. A lot of people say the nasal tip drops quite a bit after surgery, but mine didn't come down as much as I thought, so I'm really relieved (but it could still gradually come down, right?) I hope the swelling in my nose goes down much more than now so my nose becomes even slimmer!! They say swelling in the nose can keep going down for up to 1 year haha
But for friends who are considering nose surgery, I really hope you do it. (Oh, the nose is the center of the face, so you need to have plenty of consultation with the director and decide carefully~!) I didn't have any pain at all after surgery; it was just a lot of discomfort. There was no pain. I just went through a bit of inconvenience in daily life, and because my satisfaction with nose surgery is so high, I really think I did well getting it done. When I take photos, my nose holds the center of my face, so photos come out well, and I absolutely never took side-profile photos before, but now I even take side-profile shots on purpose. I think the satisfaction level is really good!! I truly recommend it ♡
