First of all, I’m very satisfied. I originally had monolids with no double eyelids (not even an inner-double kind of look). I already had things like an epicanthoplasty done, so I only had a partial incision and ptosis correction. So I think I had it done at a low price. (However, before surgery I had used double eyelid tape for a long time, so one eye already had a line, and the other side was almost forming one too, but I had already paid the deposit, so I went ahead with the surgery.) I had an in-out line done, and it was done almost the same as my double eyelid tape line, so it only looked puffy and tight at first when there was swelling. After about one or two months, it was pretty manageable, and unless I told people I had double eyelid surgery, no one noticed. It looked almost the same as my eyes when I used double eyelid tape.. But I feel like the swelling really does continue to go down slowly, little by little, even after several years. This year, a lot of the swelling went down, so now even when I close my eyes, there’s almost no scar, just the line. When I compared it with old photos, it feels like the swelling has gone down a lot even compared with two years ago. And the most important thing is that I tend to open my eyes in a slightly unfocused, sleepy-looking way. Right after the ptosis correction, that improved a lot, but then it came back again. I think ptosis correction loosens over time anyway, so it seems like it needs to be maintained consistently!! The clinic wasn’t even in Seoul, and I was young, so I didn’t shop around and just went to the place my friend went to. I’m glad it turned out well ㅠ I’m satisfied, and my younger sibling also had double eyelid surgery this year and went to the same clinic. But the price feels like it went up a bit compared with before..? But these days, overlapping double eyelid lines look so pretty to me.. so I feel a bit regretful about that part haha
