My nose isn't low, but it's average and bulbous. I chose surgery because I wanted a refined, high-bridged nose. I had silicone, septal cartilage, and donated costal cartilage used. They said they wouldn't use ear cartilage. Since it was my first surgery and I'm a scaredy-cat, I heard it hurts if they harvest cartilage. I had surgery on Saturday and got the cotton removed from inside my nose today. I'm satisfied for now, but I'm looking forward to the day they remove the splint.
