Before I had surgery today. The surgery took longer than I expected, and it hurt. Still, I think the director worked hard and did a good job.
I think I had under-eye fat removal, double eyelid revision surgery, upper eyelid fat removal, and ptosis correction.
My existing double eyelid line was thick, so when I was tired, my eye shape didn’t look pretty. As I’ve gotten older, they also addressed the sagging skin under my eyes, and since I had a lot of flesh on my upper eyelids, they removed some of that too.
I thought it wouldn’t hurt because it was under sedation anesthesia, but I was fully conscious throughout the surgery. It hurt a bit when they were removing the fat. The nurse told me not to move, but I kept moving automatically, so it was driving me crazy. They said if something went wrong, I could even go blind.
Anyway, the pain level is bearable if you’re a man, but it hurts quite a lot,, enough to make a few tears come out..
Today is the first day, so my eyes feel numb and tingling, and I still can’t see well up close.
