I had extremely uneven eyes, with a severe inner double eyelid on one side, and if I opened my eyes without putting strength into them, my eye shape looked really awful, so I barely took photos.. Even when I used double eyelid tape, my eyes would swallow it up, and they would swallow up all my mascara too. It was so stressful… I hated looking in the mirror, and if I didn’t put on double eyelid tape, I couldn’t even go outside.
Then I saw that one of my friends had gotten double eyelid surgery, and I ended up getting it really impulsively. Without any fear, I went to the hospital my friend recommended, had one consultation, and immediately set a surgery date… Looking back now, I think I was lucky.
Correcting my uneven eyes was what I desperately wanted most, so I didn’t care about the type of line and just asked the director to make the most natural and pretty line for my eyes. I think I was really lucky that the aesthetic the director and I were aiming for matched well. We decided to make it look natural but still give a noticeable double eyelid surgery effect, and I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty.
As for the result, even 1 month after surgery there was hardly any swelling, so I was satisfied, and now that 1 year has passed, I’m still satisfied! It’s truly one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. The director is basically my second father.. People who meet me for the first time don’t even know I had double eyelid surgery. When I tell them, everyone is surprised.
During the consultation, he said that if I wanted a more glamorous line later, I could have revision surgery, but I like my current line so much that I plan to keep it!
