Before<Before>Before<Before>After<After>After<After>After<After>It’s been over 1 month since my hooked nose revision surgery, and now I think all the major swelling is gone, so I’m leaving a post on the review board. I had surgery for a deviated septum 2 years ago, but when I looked at my side profile, the nasal bridge wasn’t smooth, so I got revision surgery. The hard part lasted two days. There was no pain, but because of the cotton inside my nose, I couldn’t sleep properly. I think most people who’ve had rhinoplasty will relate. Oh, and when the internal stitches were removed, I wasn’t expecting much, but it hurt more than I thought, so I was surprised.. lol The swelling gradually looked more natural at week 1 and week 2, and around one month, it seemed like all the major swelling was gone. I feel like the shape probably won’t change much from here. Comparing the before and after photos, there really is definitely a big difference.. It turned out natural without looking artificial, so people around me reacted well too. I definitely like my side profile now. Before surgery, I was so stressed that my nose looked like a drooping arrow nose when I smiled, so I didn’t smile much, but now I smile and take photos too.. lol Anyway, I hope everyone’s surgery goes well!
