My nose was originally a bulbous nose with a hump, thick skin at the nasal tip, and a long nose. Because of my nose, the midface looked long, but the doctor said that even just shortening the nose would make my face not look long, so I had long-nose correction and osteotomy, and the surgery used 6 mm silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage.
First of all, my conclusion is that I like it. Since my nose looks shorter somehow, the part where my chin looked long has also improved a lot. But I’m a little worried because I’m not sure whether the hump was not shaved down enough or whether it’s still swelling; the line was smooth at first, but now it feels slightly uneven, and when viewed from the front, the area around the glabella? looks thick, like Avatar. I’m going to have the stitches inside my nose removed in week 2, so I should ask then.
Still, for a first surgery, I’m satisfied with this much.
