It has been one month since my revision surgery lol I should have looked into it and gotten it done earlier. I do not know why I kept putting up with the stress all this time lol After my first surgery, there was no difference from before surgery, and it even felt like it looked more crooked? So I was extremely stressed for 3 years;; Even people I know tilted their heads and were like, this is after surgery? And close friends said I wasted my money I wanted a place that could make a clear difference before and after revision surgery while matching it harmoniously with other parts of my face. Maybe because I had already had one failed experience, I became really picky when choosing a clinic. The director's experience was a basic requirement, and I compared reviews and even searched for very old posts lol (including blacklists)
In the end, I had surgery at the place that diagnosed my nose in the most professional + realistic way during consultation. I wanted a high, semi-scooped nose shape, but they said that if I did that, the nose itself would be pretty but it probably would not suit me. They also said that if I planned to have other surgeries, they might recommend it, but if not, for the nose itself a straight-to-slightly-curved profile with a slimmer nasal tip would likely be better, and that I did not need autologous costal cartilage! The consultation was very long and detailed, and in the end I had surgery with donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage + septal cartilage.
Honestly, after surgery I was so swollen that it felt like nothing had changed? lol But when the splint came off, wow, seriously, my nose was completely different;; The staff member who was with me also said it turned out really pretty It has just been a little over a month, and these days everyone I meet tells me it came out well and congratulates me, so I feel good. There is still some swelling on the bridge of my nose, so I am going for walks every day lol
