I originally had malocclusion, so I went to a university hospital for a consultation and photos, and I was wondering whether I should go toward double-jaw surgery. But the director at my local dental clinic advised against it, so I started non-extraction orthodontic treatment, and it’s already been almost a year. I also had arch expansion. At first it was extremely uncomfortable, but now I’m so used to the orthodontic appliance that it almost feels like part of my body. After doing it, my front teeth have definitely become much straighter than before, so I’m satisfied, but still... if you gain something, you lose something... My nasolabial folds have gotten a bit deeper, and I developed wrinkles around my mouth that I didn’t have before.. But I’m going to keep watching, thinking this isn’t the final result yet~ Since I need interdental brushes every time I eat something, I really want to get them off soon lololol
