An advantage is that the doctor personally shows before-and-after photos. However, at other hospitals I was told that nasal bone osteotomy was not necessary. The consultant mainly emphasized fast recovery and less swelling, while the doctor explained in detail how the nose shape would change. However, I wanted to ask more about the common opinion that closed rhinoplasty is less accurate than open surgery, but it was disappointing because the consultant came in and created an atmosphere where it felt like the consultation had to end.
