I’ve been really stressed because of my big face My facial line isn’t that pretty either.. I felt like it would be hard to solve with procedures, so I went for a facial contouring consultation.
I had watched a few YouTube videos beforehand, and the director was exactly the same as in the videos. They had a gentle, calm way of speaking and were the kind type.
While looking at my CT scan images, they first explained my bones and facial structure, and told me what surgeries would be needed. They also examined my actual face from different angles and checked which areas among the cheekbones, square jaw, and chin tip should be operated on first. When I asked how much they could reduce it, they explained in terms like a few millimeters for the cheekbones. I heard this place is famous for cheekbone surgery, and maybe because of that, they seemed especially confident about cheekbone surgery. (intraoral incision + sideburn incision) Also, when looking at the proportions of my face, they said that if the square jaw and chin tip were made too slim and pointy, the lower face could look cramped, so they recommended refining everything naturally overall. They asked if there was any particular area I wanted or if I had brought photos, so I showed them. They seemed willing to reflect my needs, but they honestly told me when something wasn’t right or would be difficult, which I actually liked.
The manager went over the director’s consultation details once and explained things like aftercare. They didn’t try to be commercial, and said that since this is a major surgery, I shouldn’t think too hastily and should decide after considering the recovery period, when I could return to work, and things like that. They gave me a business card and said that if I had more questions, I could ask the director through KakaoTalk. They said I could do that after just the consultation and also after surgery, but explained that when the director is busy, a quick reply may be difficult.
I did go to other hospitals too, but this was the place I was most drawn to, so I’m considering going through with surgery there.
