1. A large hospital in Gangnam (just in case, I won’t write the hospital name here. If you tell me whether it’s okay to reveal this much of the name, I’ll add it) This was the first place where I ever had a plastic surgery consultation, and it was where I got treated like a pushover. Since it was my first time having a consultation, I wanted to hear explanations step by step about various things... They were kind, but the pressure to pay a deposit was seriously way too much, and the wait was way too long too. I was stuck here for a total of 4 hours. They kept recommending, over and over, that I should have surgery the next morning, have surgery within this week, because that’s the only way it would be cheaper. They also kept telling me to go get the tests needed to have surgery that day. I didn’t know anything, so I was like, oh, I see, and ended up going along with it... lol They said that if I canceled, they would replace the test fee with the deposit and I wouldn’t be able to get it back... When I said I’d look at other places, they asked which hospital it was and kept pressuring me, saying that place was really bad, don’t go there, and that I should do it at their hospital. They kept saying things like call your mom right now and set a surgery date, etc... It was so exhausting. I’m very introverted by nature, so I couldn’t even properly say no. Among the 3 places I visited, the doctor here gave the least explanation. Even though it was my first surgery, they said I absolutely had to use donated rib cartilage. No consultation fee 2. ㅁㅎ I had a consultation here with Director Yoon, and he explained things in really great detail and was very kind. I remember him saying that for a first surgery, septal cartilage could also be used, and if possible he did recommend rib cartilage too. I came here after mentally breaking down at the first hospital above, but there was no pressure or awkward vibe about a deposit at all, and everyone said nicely that I could go look at other places too. Also, the doctor was actually kind, but the other staff were just so-so. I’m still debating between here and ㅂ ㅠㅠㅠㅠ No consultation fee 3. ㅂ In the end, this is the place where I confirmed my surgery reservation. The wait here was also so long that I got really annoyed, but the counseling manager was kind, and I had a consultation with Director Go, who explained every single thing bbbb And he said there was no need to necessarily use rib cartilage, and that septal cartilage plus ear cartilage if there wasn’t enough would be sufficient. Maybe because they’re not using donated rib cartilage, the price was good (I’m not sure if this is actually the original price and they’re just saying they’re giving it cheaper haha). They said they only show 30 seconds each of the CCTV from the beginning, middle, and end, and since I asked about this after making the reservation, it slightly bothers me... I paid around 30,000 won, I think, for the tests for functional rhinoplasty
All 3 places took CT scans
