The condition of my nose is seriously dizzying At a glance, it’s just a droopy, arrow-shaped nose The nose height is, well, livable enough, but my nose looks too long, and it’s just insanely stressful.
Yesterday I went to D-Day Plastic Surgery for a nose consultation. My first impression was that every floor shown in the elevator was a plastic surgery clinic lol. It was the 14th or 15th floor, I think, and they were all plastic surgery clinics;;; I really thought, yep, this is the kingdom of plastic surgery lol. After checking in, I waited about 5 minutes? then took photos and a CT scan, then waited another 2-3 minutes. Then the consultation with the consultant.. First, I got the feeling that she really listened closely to what I was saying, and she responded appropriately and empathized with me. (But the consultant is pretty, so can she really relate to my nose? haha) Then came the consultation with the director. During the director’s consultation, he looked at the photos and CT scan and used a cotton swab to design? the shape for me. When I asked questions, he answered right away, and maybe because I have some nasal bridge height, he suggested rhinoplasty without an implant. He said he would lift the nasal tip to correct the long nose and shape the tip to correct the droopy, arrow-shaped nose. I said I don’t like a nose tip that’s too pointy, and he said he would make the tip slightly rounded in a natural-yet-refined style. He shaped it with a cotton swab, and I really liked that shape. If the surgery could turn out exactly like that, I wanted to do it right away lol. The consultation with the director lasted about 20 minutes? It was a pretty thorough and detailed explanation, and because he kept shaping it, it helped me picture how I would change. After the director’s consultation, I consulted with the consultant again, and she explained the rhinoplasty cost. Huh??? Surgery for this price?? That’s how the cost felt, in the inexpensive direction.
I really liked everything, including not using silicone and the consultation, so I strongly wanted to do it here. But they said they would place septal cartilage in the nasal tip, and may place donated costal cartilage or ear cartilage over it, and that this would be decided after opening it up and checking the condition. They said if they decide in advance, using cartilage that may not be necessary could become overtreatment, so they would decide based on the situation. That does make sense, but I did feel slightly uneasy. Still, both the consultant and the director were the best out of all the places I visited, so I made a reservation. Unless something unusual happens, I think I’ll probably have surgery at D-Day Plastic Surgery. There was no consultation fee.
*If they don’t put in silicone, then there won’t be side effects, right? I won’t need revision rhinoplasty, right??
