Before/after I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. The reason I chose this plastic surgery clinic was because the doctor at this hospital had a lot of experience, was a board-certified plastic surgeon running a solo practice, and had a history of academic society activities and paper presentations. The consultation manager at the plastic surgery clinic said that they also take good care of follow-up after surgery. (Honestly, there are many hospitals where it’s hard to even see the doctor’s face after surgery..) Just as she said, today when I went in for the swelling laser treatment, the doctor looked in on me before leaving and asked if I had any questions. When I said the lines looked uneven / that the lines were not round and had an angular-looking part, he explained things that a patient could be curious about in an easy-to-understand way. (Try looking downward. The line is actually well set in a round shape, but because there is swelling, it looks angular.) Like that.
And I liked that he clearly said no when something wasn’t possible, and yes when it was. He tried to listen to what the patient wanted, but recommended the prettiest line that suited me best. Today is day 7 since my double eyelid surgery. There is still plenty of swelling, but I like it.
The doctor, nurses, and consultation manager are all kind, and ? they show an attitude of thinking from the patient’s perspective and trying to empathize, and they try to listen well, so I trust them ? Also, they don’t unnecessarily recommend surgeries that the patient doesn’t need... (If you read not only my review but other reviews too, I think they will say the same.)
