Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Wague Oral Surgery Yangyul 3-type, 3-month review

It has been 3 months since I had double jaw surgery and three-type contour surgery (cheekbone, square jaw, chin). My concern was asymmetry, so I decided on double jaw surgery. I became aware of it when I saw an incidental rear-facing photo taken in middle school and noticed the asymmetry. Because I was still before bone growth had finished, I did not think the asymmetry was serious, so I never even imagined double jaw surgery before becoming an adult. Then after becoming an adult, the asymmetry gradually started to bother me. Maybe it was just my feeling, but as I got older it seemed to get worse.;; I thought it was only a tooth problem and believed orthodontics would improve it, so I did orthodontic treatment after becoming an adult, but as expected, because it was a skeletal problem, there was no external improvement.. I visited four double jaw surgery hospitals, and since I am a rather conservative person and Director Lee Seok-jae at Wague Oral Surgery is also conservative, the consultation went very smoothly without any blockage.! That sense that our values matched played a big role in deciding on the hospital. I also liked that they only schedule one surgery per day. First of all, until the 1-month mark, it was so hard. Maybe because I could not eat properly after surgery, even standing for a few minutes kept making me dizzy and feel like I would collapse, so I started taking supplements and eating a balanced mix of protein, carbs, and fat.. I used to eat only instant food.. People say others can work even from the 1-month mark, but for me it took 2 months to fully recover my stamina.. From 2 months onward I started living daily life just like before~ Eating also did not feel hard to me from the 2-month mark. It is not that I do not pay attention, but if I just cut it up small, I could finish everything! Right now at the 3-month mark, I can open my mouth almost like before to the point that I do not even consciously think about having had double jaw surgery, and I can even eat wraps~ For the first 2 months after surgery, after eating I would rinse with water and remove what got stuck in my gums, but now at 3 months it does not get stuck as much, so I do not even do that routine water swish anymore. Brushing my teeth is also almost back to how it used to be. From the 3-month mark, daily life is restored to the point that I even forget I had double jaw surgery. Not only daily life, but compared with the 1-month mark, the swelling has gone down a lot, so my parents are happy too. I am looking forward to how much more the swelling will go down in a few months!!
