I had it done today at 11. I got incisional double eyelid surgery.
Ha; I finally did it.... I feel relieved, so relieved. Honestly, the swelling is less than I expected, and I didn’t bruise much either, so I’m glad. Of course, I don’t know what it’ll be like tomorrow lol...
But seriously, how are the medication costs 40,000 won? ㅠㅠ I really spent all my money just on the meds...... I’ll post another review in a month.
1. Pain from the incision
How should I put it, just a throbbing kind of pain? Plus the pain of pressing hard with your hand on a bruised area...
2. Bruising
Right after it was done, there was no bruising at all. If you look at the photo, there was a dark bruise at the outer corner of my right eye, but there wasn’t any on the surgical area. But after I left and was on my way home, it got really bad, then after I got home and used a cold compress, it went down a lot.
It depends on the person, but just keep it in mind in case.
3. Double eyelid line
I originally planned to get an inline crease, but I thought that if I got an inline crease, it might not show later once the skin starts sagging, so I chose an in-out line, but set slightly low.
4. Advice
When they’re marking the double eyelid line, don’t relax the force you use to open your eyes; open them with the same strength everyone normally uses when opening their eyes. I thought I was supposed to relax, so I just looked blank, but maybe the director thought I had weak eye-opening strength, and asked if I had considered ptosis correction.. So when I just used my normal strength to open my eyes, he seemed flustered.
