It’s already been 3 months since my nose surgery! When I first decided to get nose surgery, I worked hard to save money, but after that I spent 2-3 years debating for a long time whether to do it or not. My face is slightly on the long side, so I thought if the nose surgery went wrong, it might make my face look even longer, and since my philtrum is also long, I was worried about what I’d do if the surgery made my philtrum look even longer. So I just kept going back and forth about whether to have surgery, and years passed. Unless I became certain that it would definitely be successful, I just couldn’t find the courage to start. While I was worrying like that, I asked an acquaintance who works in dermatology about good plastic surgery clinics, and I was recommended about 2-3 clinics. I went around to about 5-6 clinics, including the recommended places and places I found myself, and I decided on this place because Director Noh Bong-il seemed to be looking at my face the most accurately. I also liked that the silicone implant would be made to fit my nose, and since my nasal tip was lower than the center of my nose, which I didn’t like, he answered accurately about that part too. In March I caught a nasal cold and blew my nose all day, but I had no discomfort at all, and even though I really had every possible surgery that can be done on the nose, I’m staying healthy. Now that it’s the 3-month mark, I can feel the incision scar around the columella suddenly getting much lighter!
Personally, even if I went back to January, I think I would still get nose surgery from Director Noh Bong-il, and even if I developed silicone-related side effects and had to remove it, I think I’d come back here again. My nose was kind of ambiguous-looking (you can think of it as a strange nose where every part was a little lacking...?), but he really changed it so naturally that you can’t tell, and the postoperative care was all done well too, so I’m very satisfied with the surgery. I’m the suspicious type, so even while going to consultations I could never decide, and I kept wondering whether what the doctor said was really the best option... but through this surgery, I really felt again that when you meet truly good medical staff, following the doctor’s words creates the best result. Even though I had every possible surgery that can be done on the nose, it came out so naturally, just like my original nose.
