This is my review of SMILE LASIK, which I had 2 years ago before going to the military. I got exempted from the CBR training, so it was such an easy win. First of all, I only had surgery on one eye. The other eye originally had 1.2 vision (hyperopia), and the remaining eye had slight myopia, so my vision was not bad, but without glasses, my head would hurt badly and I would feel dizzy, so I had it done. Right after surgery, I remember the whole world was blurry as if I had been punched in the eye, and I could not open my eye, so I fumbled around, took a taxi, and came home Even when I tried to open only the other eye, I could not put strength into the opposite side, so I just kept my eyes closed. After I got home, slept deeply, and woke up, my eye stung sliiightly, but I could see fairly well, so there was no problem with daily life. Until about 3 months, my eyes were quite dry, but after that, I only used artificial tears when I needed them. I had no problems during military service, and even now my vision is maintained at 1.0 or above. I still have no side effects like glare/halos, and personally I am very satisfied.

If possible, I recommend SMILE LASIK... LASEK hurts so much even after the surgery, and I lived for 3 days with the lights off, crying and with my nose running.. There’s also a lot to take care of, so it’s really cumbersome and annoying.
