First of all, it’s been 4 years since my revision surgery, and after the surgery my nasal tip drooped a lot. The hospital also acknowledged that it was true, that it had drooped a lot and I would probably need to redo it, and they said it drooped more than expected. They said I’d probably have to use autologous costal cartilage to prevent it from drooping. After seeing the doctor, I had a consultation with the manager, and they said 5 million won. But I’m not getting a new surgery here, it’s an AS, right? Is this amount right?.. It’s even only redoing the nasal tip. But the worst issue is the drooping nasal tip. Ever since surgery, my columella looked crooked, and they said it was because of swelling, but even now it’s crooked the same way, my nostrils are uneven, and one side of my nose is blocked too, you know? The area where they removed ear cartilage also changed the shape of my ear. They said once the itching stopped it would settle, but the deformity is still the same and my ear shapes are uneven. Anyway, it is the hospital where I had surgery, and I went to check the progress and find out what materials they used and how. I don’t plan to do it again here. My friend also had revision surgery with them and then had it done 3 more times afterward (they only charged anesthesia fees). Even so, the nasal tip drooped. Looking at surgery reviews in a community too, it seems like there are many people who experienced the same thing as me.. I’m planning to work hard searching online and going to consultations at other hospitals, but the time is one thing, the money is another, and whenever I get a chance I’m only looking at my nose, coming into this community and searching, and it’s all so frustrating that I’m writing this... 5 million won isn’t money that just appears out of nowhere.. I thought my revision would be my last surgery, but the thought of having a third surgery really makes me sick of it...
