The doctor had a lot of experience and was rather older, and he just said what needed to be said and was done. I had a lot of fat in my upper eyelids, so it was a partial incision with fat removal, but a few months after the surgery I started to have no strength in my eyes like sleepy eyes. Back then it wasn’t common to also do eye-opening correction, and I lived not knowing even terms like ptosis or eye-opening correction. After 7 years, one side had almost come undone and lost strength, so I started looking into double eyelid surgery with eye-opening correction.
