I think it has been over 2 years since I had it done. I did not have malocclusion, but I wanted to straighten my crooked teeth, so I had full orthodontic treatment. My philtrum area was somewhat recessed, but after the orthodontic treatment it came up a bit, so my mouth shape became naturally prettier. It was non-extraction orthodontic treatment and took about 1 year and 2 months. As discussed during the consultation before starting, I was glad it did not take longer.
