About 10 years ago, my mom took me to a hospital she knew, and I had rhinoplasty there. They went straight into the surgery with only local anesthesia, basically raw, and I felt the whole surgical process was really difficult The result honestly made my nose look like an Avatar nose, and for the nasal tip they just placed ear cartilage on top, so the tip actually became more prominent and blunt. It turned out the doctor was not a board-certified plastic surgeon. I’ve genuinely been thinking about plastic surgery for the entire 10 years, and since this would be a revision surgery, the risks feel high. I’m not sure whether they can meet my needs, and I’m also very worried about side effects. I just worry that people will look at my nose, and taking photos feels burdensome, so I’m gradually taking fewer and fewer photos. Since I have these worries and concerns, does that mean I should now make up my mind and go through with revision surgery? I think natural-looking facial features suit me, so for my nose, I want it to look natural rather than dramatic. I would appreciate recommendations for good and safe hospitals.
