Hello, I'm a man, and 14-15 years ago I had surgery on just the tip of my nose using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. After the surgery, the cartilage was slightly visible, but recently it has become more visible, and on top of that there is a protrusion where the tip of the nose below the nostril bulges out like in the photo, so I'm wondering whether it would be better to just leave it alone or have revision surgery. As far as I know, in the case of autologous cartilage, I understand that it doesn't usually come through the skin, but could there be cases where the protrusion gets worse over time and eventually breaks through the skin?
