I visited after making a consultation appointment. It proceeded in the order of an InBody check, consultation with the director, then consultation with the consultant manager. I specifically requested Director Jung Rae-jun. The director personally checked the fat thickness in each area with ultrasound. Compared with other hospitals that usually only do a pinch test, I liked that checking the fat thickness carefully with ultrasound seemed likely to allow a more accurate diagnosis. I have a high body fat amount and not much muscle, so he said the effect would be good. I also asked about another area, the bra line, but the director said he didn’t think I needed to do that area, and I liked that he only recommended the areas I needed.
After that, I consulted with Manager Go A-ra, and throughout the consultation it was kind and comfortable, and she explained the cost and details thoroughly. I made up my mind, scheduled the surgery, paid the deposit the same day, and had a blood test done. Two days later, I received a text saying the blood test results were normal, so the surgery could proceed as scheduled.
On the day of surgery, the director personally explained the surgery-related instructions and I filled out the consent form. While drawing the design with a marker, he told me the expected surgical results. After that, I went down to the operating room, and all the operating room staff were kind and made me feel comfortable, so I wasn’t nervous. Right after surgery, I woke up in the recovery room wearing the compression garment, and I could visibly see that I looked slimmer. They prepared porridge and water for me, so I ate, left the recovery room, picked up my medicine from the pharmacy on the 1st floor, and went home by public transportation.
By the evening of the surgery day, I gradually started to swell. The swelling peaked on days 2 to 5. Both the bruising and swelling gradually moved downward to my lower arms and hands, which was a bit uncomfortable, but not to the point of interfering with daily life. Since then, the bruising and swelling have been gradually improving. I had the stitches removed on day 11! The director removed them personally and checked whether the wounds were healing well. I’m entering week 3 now, and there is a little bruising left, but I think all the swelling has gone down! I’m satisfied because the accessory breast tissue that had been stressing me out has improved a lot :)
