It was ptosis eye shape correction with an inner double eyelid. I had wanted monolids, but I’m the type who closes and opens my eyes using only the upper crease area, so they said that if I had a monolid surgery that removes skin, I could develop dry eye syndrome. So we proceeded with an ‘inner double eyelid with a thin line.’
I’m satisfied with the surgical result. It came out very natural, and opening my eyes has become much easier. I don’t have dry eye syndrome. However, I’m not sure if all eye surgeries are like this, but there was some imbalance between my left and right eyes, and I think one eye that was undercorrected has again started to have some of the same functional issues as before (the pupil being covered a lot and not being able to open the eye properly). I guess I’ll need revision surgeryㅠ
It’s a one-doctor clinic, and the director and staff are very kind. They gave a detailed consultation and answered my questions well.
