I had vision correction with SMILE LASIK in both eyes, and before the procedure my vision was 0.5 and 0.8 respectively, so my eyes had different vision. After LASIK, my vision gradually improved, and now both eyes are at about 1.2. The surgery seems to be over in almost 1 minute, and during the surgery they wipe the eyes with something like a sponge, so there is some discomfort. Especially if you are not bringing a car on the day of surgery, you absolutely need to bring sunglasses. After the surgery, my eyes stung a lot and the glare was severe, so it was hard. I had heard that dry eye can develop, but even now, over a year later, I still do not have any dryness symptoms. If anything, wearing contact lenses feels drier. In Gwangju, it is such a large ophthalmology clinic that there was nothing particularly inconvenient, and I had the surgery quickly and recovered quickly. I also trusted them more because the director said he had LASIK himself.
