Review after 4 years of SMILE LASIK

I chose this hospital after hearing that it has fewer side effects of dry eye after SMILE LASIK. At the time, I wanted to have it done by the most famous director at the hospital (G.D.H..? It was so long ago that the initials may be wrong), but all the appointments were full, so I had it done by the chief director. I had the examination and surgery on the same day. The total time took about 1-2 hours for the exam and consultation with the director, 10 minutes for the surgery, and about 20 minutes to wake up from anesthesia and rest. After hearing the explanation about the next visit and aftercare, I was discharged. I went alone without a guardian and booked a room at lodging right behind the hospital. I stopped by the pharmacy on the 2nd floor to get my medicine, then went straight out the back gate to the lodging, which I think took about 5 minutes. The anesthesia hadn't fully worn off, so I could find my way while squinting. After arriving at the lodging, the anesthesia wore off and the pain continued, but after sleeping for about 2 hours, I could open my eyes fully. My focus was a little blurry, but I could see well. The day after surgery, I went to the hospital and had a vision test. I was surprised that my left eye was 1.5 and my right eye was 1.2. They dilated my pupils for the exam, so my vision became blurry again, but as long as I didn't drive, I could do daily activities without trouble. For about 6 months, I had glare at night and dry eyes, but it was manageable with artificial tears. Even now, 4 years later, my vision is maintained at 1.2 and 1.2. I am very satisfied with SMILE LASIK and recommend it to people around me.
