Before and afterI first had rhinoplasty in Daegu 4 years ago. Of course, I thought that if they had a board-certified plastic surgeon title up, they would all be good, and I chose the hospital without thinking that I needed to look into it separately. I want to go find my past self... After the first surgery, even when the swelling went down, I did not like it that much, but I had wanted it to look natural, so I thought this was good enough. Then my nose gradually kept getting lower, as if it was being pressed down. Crookedness came as a bonus. Even when it reached that point, I thought the results gained from rhinoplasty were not permanent anyway. I guess I had mistakenly thought of it as something simple like a dermatology procedure.
Even though it was late, once I realized this was wrong, I wanted to receive revision surgery from a highly skilled doctor. I thought I should come to Seoul, so I even stayed at a relative’s house for a few months, and with the thought that there would be no third surgery, I really worked hard going to consultations At first, while referring to reviews, I clearly organized the direction for how I should do the revision surgery, and I made a consultation list while looking up the doctors’ experience, credentials, and reviews together. During the consultations, I tried to clearly express that I wanted the line to feel a bit more high and refined, and that I wanted the nasal tip to be slim and rounded.. Anyway, the result would remain exactly on my face, and I am the person undergoing the surgery, so I think I really wanted to actively take part in every process starting from the consultation.
It is still only the 1-month mark, so I think some swelling remains. Still, should I say the nasal tip that had been completely pressed down now looks like it has definition.. I feel like this part has come alive much more, and I think they preserved the rounded shape well too. As the nasal tip came up, a line finally appeared!! As the small swelling goes down more and it becomes more refined, I think it will become the nose shape I had in mind.
Once I started looking into it seriously, I poured all my effort only into revision surgery, so I do not even know how the month passed. I feel proud and also relieved.
