If there are no issues before and after, I think this will be the last post I write after surgery, so I’m posting it.
It’s been about 3 weeks since surgery, and even though everyone tried to stop me, I had surgery with the closed approach. My goal was only to shave down the hump, so I’m satisfied. Of course, the flaw is that it’s too natural (even my family didn’t notice), but since the hump was corrected to some extent, I’m going to live satisfied!
Anyway, since it was my first surgery, I was scared, and I realized that nose surgery should not be done lightly. I recommend it only to people for whom it is truly, truly a complex. The difference in pain after surgery seems to vary widely
I had lurked a lot in this community and read a lot of plastic surgery advice, so I feel a bit sad leaving but unless something goes wrong, I don’t think I’ll come in for a while
I don’t want to be mistaken for a broker, so even if people ask, I’m not planning to mention the hospital name,, Also, a hospital that suited me might not suit someone else!! And the more decisive reason is that I’m not 100% satisfied with the shape
Among the posts I deleted before, I once wrote asking what people thought of this hospital, and people voted that there were a lot of promotional posts,, I don’t want to be mistaken for a broker!! So please don’t ask where it is..
Lastly, nose surgery tips are 1. Do lots of online research / in-person consultations (voice recording) - I looked a lot at the doctor’s career too, so I even searched whether any of their previous workplaces included hospital names where proxy surgery scandals had broken out. Also, you might not remember the consultation details. So I recommend recording it
2. Follow the hospital of an acquaintance whose surgery turned out well - But as mentioned above, a hospital that suited someone else might not suit me, so you have to accept that risk
3. Make sure to emphasize and show the shape you want!! right up until just before surgery - Maybe I was a bit clumsy with this part, but it didn’t become 100% the shape I wanted, so I’m a little sad I do think I should have emphasized it more right before surgery. Bringing photos by area would also be good (columella shape, nasal bridge, nasal tip, length, etc.)
4. Rest for at least one month after nose surgery - From the standpoint of someone who had nose surgery, I thought doing nose surgery without taking time off while working at a company is extremely difficult,, It seems recovery is faster if you do it when you’re unemployed or when you can take a long vacation
5. Surgery is not 100% satisfying - I’m not 100% satisfied either.. If you’re about 70% satisfied, you shouldn’t touch it any further. If you touch it more, it could get even stranger. And it’s important not to overdo it.
6. You don’t necessarily have to put down a same-day deposit - They definitely contact you the next day asking if you have no intention of doing it. I’ve even seen places offer a bigger discount. Still, if it’s a place you completely like, I recommend putting one down just in case. If you’re unsure, don’t put down a deposit
