I came in for a tertiary revision surgery after having surgery at another hospital. I went after reading the director’s blog posts. It can be difficult for a person to have conviction in the work they do, but I trusted Director Hwang’s conviction and entrusted my body to him. I had my columella, nasal alae, and other areas manipulated using donated costal cartilage, and I knew that another person’s tissue could be absorbed more than expected. So when I came in because my nasal tip seemed to have drooped, he only charged me for the new costal cartilage and performed the surgery. It seemed like he considers the nose he operated on to be his own work.
