*Reason for surgery As you can tell from the before photos, I had a very thin body. My upper body was especially thinner than my lower body, and I had almost no fat on my breasts, so if I wore even slightly fitted clothes, my figure showed exactly as it was, to the point where it felt burdensome.
I think what upset me most was that I had no confidence in myself. Weight can be lost through effort, but I thought breasts were outside my control, so rather than feeling devastated the whole time, I decided to look for a hospital for breast surgery while I was even one year younger.
*Consultation hunting I went to a lot of hospitals. I thought about it for nearly 2 years too.. The reason I wandered around to so many hospitals during that time was because I didn’t feel certain. Then I had a consultation here, and for the first time, I think I found a place that left both the implant type choice and size choice as much as possible up to my own freedom. The director checked my body type and gave advice, but didn’t dismiss my opinion or force anything on me. Thanks to that, I could have the consultation with a much more comfortable mind, and I also learned that the hospital had products to help prevent side effects, like anti-adhesion agents.
Honestly, I didn’t decide right away on the day of the consultation. After coming home, I carefully looked through reviews about this hospital again, thought carefully for a week, and booked the surgery.
*Surgery day To be honest, it was already almost two months ago, so it’s hard to describe in detail.. To pull out as much as I remember, I deliberately had the surgery in the morning because I was worried fasting would be hard to endure. I wasn’t that nervous up until I went to the hospital, but once I arrived and did the final size check with the director and heard all sorts of explanations, I suddenly got scared..
Still, the manager and other staff members responded kindly, so I think I was able to relax a little. Actually, after that, the anesthesia hit me hard, so I don’t remember well.. lol After the surgery ended, I was groggy from the anesthesia, and rather than pain, I really felt the weight? in my upper body. They explained the postoperative precautions once again, and were considerate, telling me to recover sufficiently and leave only once the anesthesia had worn off enough that I could walk by myself.
*Pain + swelling I rested in the recovery room for nearly 2 hours before leaving the hospital. It wasn’t like I was in too much pain to walk alone or collapsed.. nothing like that. Still, I was worried about my body, so I took a taxi home. Every time the taxi went over a speed bump, I worried and held onto my chest.. lol Thankfully, it didn’t hurt. (Everyone, just in case, I recommend taking a taxi rather than public transportation on surgery day.)
In the early period, you have to wear a breast band, and since it’s the period when there is upper pole fullness, I think it’s naturally something you have to accept. What was at least fortunate was that apart from feeling a little uncomfortable, there wasn’t any part that hurt or was painful. When I went to see the director after surgery, he also said my recovery speed was on the faster side.
They say some people swell all the way down to their abdomen if swelling is severe, but I wasn’t at that level.. Still, to make daily life comfortable, I wore only elastic-waist pants for about a month.
*Feel It’s now getting close to two months since surgery. Compared with the beginning, I can definitely feel that the texture has softened, but I think it’s still hard to say it’s exactly the same as real breasts! Still, even though I had a very thin body to begin with and had a bigger size inserted than expected, I think the shape is settling quite naturally, so my satisfaction is.. going over 60%. I’m planning to think, good is good~ and focus only on recovery.
