Today, I had everything in my nose removed after 12 years! I received so much help from this community, so I’m posting this in case my experience can help even a little I had lived fine for 12 years without any major side effects, but after getting married, giving birth, and raising a child, I kept bumping into my child a lot and couldn’t sleep properly, so the moment my immunity hit rock bottom, inflammatory reactions suddenly came all at once. I went through tenderness, nasal pain, itching, a tight sensation, and so on, and then when I woke up, the final blow was a pimple on my nasal tip At first, I thought it was just a pimple and didn’t take it seriously, but it didn’t go away even after a week, so I visited a plastic surgery clinic near my home and took a week’s worth of prescribed antibiotics. In the end, they had no effect. I also went to three dermatology clinics nearby, but they only said it was unclear whether it was inflammation or a skin issue, and I only received ointment prescriptions. When I called the hospital where I had the surgery, they told me to come in, so I went all the way to Daegu, but they said there was no inflammatory reaction and just removed only the silicone implant... When I went to have the stitches removed, they only said things like, “Wait two weeks, it will get better.” Sigh. Of course, there was no way it would improve, and for several days I couldn’t sleep and felt like I was clutching at straws. I contacted two of the three well-known removal specialists and booked consultations. One place refused surgery, and the other even moved my consultation date forward, so I had full removal 15 days after the silicone removal They also proceeded with it as an emergency surgery (not same-day surgery). Since it’s still the first day, it hurts a lot, but mentally I feel so~ relieved. I remember how much emotional distress I went through, and how I cried my eyes out in front of the director and consultant on the day of my consultation If there is inflammation, definitely get everything removed and go to a hospital that specializes in removal. In my case, there were silicone fragments, the capsule was extremely thick, and they said my nasal tip had been stacked with ear cartilage in three layers..^^ Please don’t go through the same suffering twice like I did.. I’ll come back and write again after the splint is removed!!!!
