I posted a review before, but I got so many questions about the clinic, so I’m posting again with the clinic disclosed!!
First of all, I focused on these things:
1. I wanted my nasal tip (alar area) to look smaller from the front 2. But I was scared of side effects from rhinoplasty 3. I’m an office worker, so I needed a fast recovery period 4. I didn’t want people to notice, so I wanted a natural look
I focused mainly on these 4 points, and in the end, it was a surgery I was satisfied with!! But I wouldn’t say I was 100% satisfied, so I’ll write the detailed pros and cons below!!
Pros: Honestly, the 4 things I wanted were all pros and were also the reasons I decided to get the surgery.
First, there are almost no side effects It doesn’t dramatically alter the nose, to the point that many people consider it closer to a procedure, so there seem to be almost no medical side effects. Cosmetically, I heard some people occasionally end up with a pinched nose, but that depends on the doctor’s skill. I kept emphasizing “natural” to the director who performed my surgery, and I think they adjusted it well.
Second, the recovery period is fast The stitches are removed after 4-5 days, and you can return to daily life. Honestly, it’s just that the swelling bothers you; I think daily life would be possible even after 3 days.
Third, it looks natural The alar area and nasal tip become relatively naturally slimmer, so bulbous nose correction is possible.
Cons:
First, there was more swelling than I expected. At first, someone said it was like a procedure, so I thought I’d return to daily life quickly, but there was quite a bit of swelling for up to a week, and my nose hurt a little too. But it only lasted longer “than I expected”; of course, it doesn’t last as long as open rhinoplasty.
Second, if you want improvement in the nasal bridge, this won’t improve it. The director emphasized this before surgery too, but improving the nasal bridge with this? Absolutely no. It only has the effect of reducing the nasal tip from the front. I was satisfied with the result because that was all I expected, but some people asked in my previous review whether it also affects the nasal bridge, so I can say it only affects the frontal nasal tip. If you want nasal bridge improvement, this surgery is not it.
Anyway, in conclusion, I’m satisfied with the bulbous nose correction effect, especially because I can see that the nasal tip looks smaller from the front! Even though it’s taken with the default camera and unedited, this level seems like a success, right...? I recommend it to everyone who is scared of open rhinoplasty!
