I had my first nose surgery 6-7 years ago (silicone + septal cartilage), and the height is fine, but when viewed from the front, I’ve always wished the nasal tip looked slimmer. (Currently, compared with when it had only been a short time since surgery, the columella has sagged slightly, and I never had surgery to reduce the nasal tip or nostril wings, so I’m dissatisfied.)
I wanted revision rhinoplasty, so I went for a consultation at the place where I had my first surgery.
So far I’ve only had a consultation at one place, but they said surgery is possible. However, this director has always pursued a natural look and takes pride in that, so he didn’t recommend revision surgery. (He said my nasal tip is already high, so if I try to get what I want, it may look pretty from the side, but from the front it could look like an upturned nose.)
If my concern is that my nose looks long and large, he recommended a nasolabial fold or paranasal augmentation procedure. (The area beside my nose is slightly sunken and does look a bit shadowed.)
I’m going to keep visiting other clinics for consultations, but because this director seems trustworthy, I’m torn.. I’m also worried that if I get revision surgery, I might be dissatisfied again and end up needing a second revision...
