I had surgery with no implant, using septal cartilage for the nasal tip, not as a columellar strut or extension, but just by stacking several layers and placing it on top. If I remove it later, could side effects like contracture happen? After nasal tip cartilage suturing and cartilage repositioning, septal cartilage was placed on top; if I simply want to remove it later, would it be okay to remove only the septal cartilage placed on the nasal tip without major problems?
