I got footwork info from a community using keywords like natural style and a single-director clinic, and narrowed it down to 4 places. ㄱㅇㅈ, ㅈㅇㅅ, ㄱㅅ, ㅇㄹ (in the order I had consultations) The clinics I ruled out during consultations were places where the doctor didn’t listen to me and only said what they wanted to say, places with repeated price negotiation mentioned in reviews, and places where the surgery review photos looked like they had been edited with a phone app.
After having two consultations at ㄱㅅ, I decided on it. It was my first surgery, and the price was a bit higher than other places, so I hesitated, but I wanted this first surgery to be the last one, so I chose someone safe who respected my opinions. ㄱㅅ doesn’t do price negotiations and doesn’t require reviews, so it was a bit hard to find reviews in this community, but since I found this clinic thanks to this community, I’m posting a review.
My hope was simply that it would be nice if my nose became higher. For details like the columella, nasal alae, nose length, and nasal tip, I didn’t go into extreme detail and just said briefly that I liked a rounded nasal tip and wanted the length to be short. 3 mm silicone and cartilage to raise the nasal tip. On the day of surgery, it was done under sleep anesthesia, but I woke up midway and had the surgery while hearing everything the doctor and nurse were saying. They discussed things while doing it, so I felt reassured that it wasn’t a ghost surgery, and it ended well. When I saw my face in the recovery room, I was surprised that there was no swelling at all. I went home without any issues, and then saw the doctor about every one or two days to check my progress. The doctor did all the dressings, carefully checked my progress, and really cared about the patient.
From the first day, I slept lying down. They recommended sleeping with my head higher than my heart, but since I had no swelling, I slept as usual. Only my ear hurt a little, and my nose had no pain at all. Because there was so little swelling, I asked the nurse, and she told me it was because the doctor handled the tissue delicately. I had been watching nose surgery vlogs and was waiting for swelling and bruising... Is this what skill is....
Anyway, I’m very satisfied with the surgery.
I definitely prioritized safety over shape, and because I didn’t want to chase after the shape and later want revision surgery, I put safety first for the surgery, but I think the shape also came out well.
