My first nose surgery is with autologous costal cartilage

It took about 7 hours total to do my eyes and nose, and both my eyes and nose are first-time surgeries. For the first time in my life, I had sedation anesthesia and general anesthesia. After the surgery, I went to the recovery room, and I wanted to go home so badly that I kept saying I wanted to go home, so they said the anesthesia wore off really quickly. Then I came home to rest, and since it didn’t hurt, I thought, am I made for surgery? But made for surgery, my foot. From the moment I lay down to sleep, hell started. I kept waking up every hour or every two hours, I wanted to go to the bathroom but couldn’t even get up by myself, and blood and mucus? kept forming in my mouth, so the foreign-body sensation was no joke. It feels like my mouth is full of ointment? Since I can only breathe through my mouth, my mouth getting completely dry is seriously so painful. The feeling when I swallow saliva or touch my oral mucous membrane with my tongue is weird too, I’m scared I might cough, and since I have to take medicine I eat, but because of the abdominal binder my stomach fills with gas, and even burping is so painful. When does this start getting better? If I don’t move, it’s okay, but even if I put just a little strength into my abdomen, the rib pain is no joke. Please tell me how long the pain from autologous costal cartilage surgery lasted for you Tomorrow they remove the cotton from my nose; will that make it a bit more bearable?
