Nose Re-Surgery

Side effects from Botox on the nasal bridge

I got Botox on my nasal bridge, and it became hard and bumpy like scar tissue Hello. I’m posting because I have a question. Four weeks ago, I got Botox for horizontal wrinkles on my nasal bridge. On the first day, something soft like jelly could be felt in bumps on my nasal bridge, and I ended up touching it a lot. Now it has hardened and settled into a bumpy texture. I thought it was a Botox side effect and asked the clinic where I had the procedure, but they only said it was a small amount of Botox and would go away with time. However, my nose hurts with pain, the skin color in that area feels like it is changing, and it also seems like the skin is becoming translucent. As I searched online, I became worried that it might become scar tissue. I had rhinoplasty 33 years ago and have silicone, so I was extremely careful about getting an injection on my nasal bridge... What might happen in a case like this? I heard that scar tissue is when the subcutaneous fat or muscle tissue under the skin is damaged, causing the skin tissue to become uneven, clump together and harden, or bulge outward. Can Botox also become scar tissue? If it is scar tissue, can it go away? Or, if I need to remove scar tissue, what kind of treatment should I get?
